Kie Kamado – The Heart of the Kamado Family

Kie Kamado is a minor yet deeply significant character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is the mother of Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, and their younger siblings. Though her screen time is brief, Kie embodies the warmth, compassion, and resilience that define the Kamado family and shape Tanjiro’s character throughout the series.

Living in the snowy mountains, Kie works tirelessly to care for her six children after the death of her husband.
