Description
Saeko Busujima is a central character in Highschool of the Dead, the anime and manga series set during a sudden zombie outbreak in Japan. A third-year student at Fujimi High School, she is known within the story for her kendo skill and composure under pressure. As the crisis unfolds, Saeko joins Takashi Komuro and the other survivors as they try to escape the school and find safety in a world rapidly falling apart.
The series combines survival horror with action, following a group of students and adults as they navigate the dangers created by the outbreak. Saeko’s martial arts background makes her a capable fighter, while her role among the survivors also connects her to the group’s shifting relationships and difficult decisions. Her character brings a disciplined, self-possessed presence to the story’s tense ensemble, and her experiences are part of the series’ broader exploration of how people respond when familiar rules and institutions collapse.
This collection features 38 images of Saeko Busujima, with artwork by Mieko Art. It offers a character-focused companion to Highschool of the Dead, also known by its Japanese title Gakuen Mokushiroku. Whether you know Saeko from the anime adaptation or the original manga, her name is closely associated with the series’ mix of school-life setting, apocalyptic danger, and survival action.
