Description
Yor Forger is one of the central characters in Spy x Family, the manga and anime series created by Tatsuya Endo. By day, she works as a clerk at Berlint City Hall; in secret, she is an elite assassin known by the codename Thorn Princess. Her life takes an unusual turn when she enters a convenient marriage with Loid Forger, a spy operating under the identity of a family man. Their arrangement helps each of them maintain a cover, while their adopted daughter, Anya, brings the three together as an unconventional family.
Yor’s double life is a defining part of Spy x Family. She is devoted to her family, but keeps her assassin career hidden from Loid and Anya, who each have their own secrets. The contrast between her ordinary public role and covert work gives the series much of its comedy and action, while her growing connection to the Forgers adds a warm family element. The story blends espionage, humor, and domestic life without making any one of those parts the whole focus.
