Description
Since we’ve cleared up the name mix-up, let’s focus on the "real" **Amelia** (often called **Lia Lagoon**). She is one of the most refreshing princess archetypes in recent isekai because she isn’t just a prize to be won—she’s a high-level player in a very dangerous game.
Here is a deeper look at what makes Amelia tick:
## 1. The "Anti-Naïve" Princess
In many isekai stories, the princess is a sheltered girl who is amazed by the hero's power. Amelia is the opposite.
* **She Sees the Truth:** While the rest of her kingdom is cheering for the "Hero" (Aoyama), she immediately realizes the Hero is a narcissistic puppet. She identifies Akira as the true threat and the only one capable of saving her country.
* **The Burden of the Crown:** Her father, the King, is effectively compromised, and the court is crawling with traitors. Amelia is essentially acting as the **shadow ruler**, holding the kingdom together with sheer willpower and secret backroom deals.
## 2. Her Dynamic with Akira: A Partnership of Outcasts
Amelia and Akira share a "soul-level" bond because they are both lonely at the top.
* **The Contract:** She is the one who secures Akira’s freedom. In exchange for him acting as her "Black Ops" agent, she ensures he isn't treated as a slave by the state.
* **Emotional Sanctuary:** Akira is a cynical assassin who doesn't trust anyone, but Amelia becomes his "safe harbor." She is the only person he can speak to without wearing a mask (metaphorically or literally).
* **Mutual Respect:** She doesn't just love him; she **respects** his lethality. She doesn't ask him to be "nicer" or "less of an assassin"—she asks him to be exactly who he is to help her achieve their goals.
## 3. The "Brain" of the Operation
While Akira is out there infiltrating dungeons and slit-cutting throats, Amelia is doing the heavy lifting in the capital:
* **Logistics:** She handles the cleanup, the cover stories, and the funding.
* **Diplomacy:** She has to navigate the tension between the summoned students and the local nobility, often using herself as a shield to prevent a full-scale political collapse.
## 4. Why Fans Love Her
Amelia is popular because she is a **strong female lead who stays feminine.** She doesn't need to pick up a sword to be powerful (that’s Kilika’s job). Her power comes from her intelligence, her dignity, and her unwavering loyalty to those she deems worthy.

### A Fun Comparison
If we look at the women in Akira's life:
* **Kilika** is the woman he fights **beside**.
* **Amelia** is the woman he fights **for**.
She represents the "light" of the Kingdom of Saran that makes Akira’s work in the "shadows" actually mean something.
**Since she's so strategic, do you think she’s the better match for Akira, or do you prefer the more "warrior-bond" he has with Kilika?**
