## Shera L. Greenwood: The Princess of the Greenwood
In the ecchi-fantasy series **How Not to Summon a Demon Lord** (*Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu*), **Shera L. Greenwood** is one of the two summoners who accidentally becomes a slave to the protagonist, Diablo. While she often provides the series' most prominent fanservice and "accidental" physical comedy, her character is defined by her royal lineage and her quest for freedom.
### Personality: The Innocent Archer
Shera is a high elf with a personality that is a mix of sunny optimism and extreme clumsiness.
* **The "Airhead" Archetype:** She is famously naive and often misunderstands social cues or Diablo’s awkward "Demon Lord" persona. This lead to many of the series' suggestive situations, as she has very little sense of personal space or "shame" regarding her own body.
* **A Desire for Autonomy:** Despite her bubbly exterior, Shera fled her kingdom to escape a forced political marriage and the overbearing control of her brother, Keera. She wants to be recognized as an individual, not just a "royal womb" or a political tool.
* **Deep Affection:** She is incredibly affectionate toward Diablo and her fellow summoner, Rem. She often acts as the "glue" that keeps their group's morale high with her relentlessly positive outlook.
---
### Appearance and Fanservice
Shera’s design is a cornerstone of the series' visual appeal.
* **The "High-Spec" Elf:** She has the classic elven features—long blonde hair, emerald eyes, and pointed ears—but is famously "un-elf-like" due to her extremely endowed figure, which is a recurring joke and source of fanservice throughout the series.
* **The Slave Collar:** Like Rem, she wears a magical collar that marks her as Diablo's "slave," though in practice, she views it as a symbol of their bond rather than true servitude.
---
### Abilities: The Divine Archer
While she is often the target of comedy, Shera is a formidable combatant in her own right.
* **Master Archer:** She is an elite marksman, capable of firing multiple arrows with pinpoint accuracy.
* **Summoner Magic:** Though outclassed by Diablo, she is a legitimate summoner who can bring forth magical beasts to assist in battle.
* **High Mana Capacity:** As a member of the Greenwood royal family, her natural mana levels are significantly higher than the average person in their world.
---
### Her Role in the Narrative
Shera represents the **emotional heart** of the trio.
* **Breaking the Ice:** Her openness and physical affection are what eventually force the socially anxious Diablo to slowly break out of his shell.
* **The Conflict of the Elves:** Her storyline brings the group into conflict with the Greenwood Kingdom, forcing them to deal with elven politics and the darker side of elven tradition.
### Why Fans Love Her
Shera is a fan favorite for those who enjoy the **"Sweet and Sexy"** character archetype. While she provides plenty of the series' "Borderline H" (ecchi) content through her constant physical proximity to Diablo, her genuine kindness and her growth into a brave woman who stands up to her family make her more than just a fanservice object.
Shera is a reminder that you can be clumsy, overly affectionate, and a bit of an airhead, while still possessing the courage to fight for your own happiness.
