## Granart Needakitta: The Proud Warrior Princess
In **Tales of Wedding Rings** (*Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari*), **Granart Needakitta** is the Princess of Fire and the ruler of the warrior nation of Needakitta. She is the fifth "Ring Princess" sought by Sato, and she brings a fierce, high-octane energy to the group that contrasts sharply with the more reserved princesses.
### Personality: The Battle-Hungry Amazon
Granart is defined by her strength, her pride, and her straightforward nature.
* **A Warrior First:** She lives by a "might makes right" philosophy. To her, strength is the ultimate virtue, and she has little patience for politics or subtleness. She is the most aggressive and physically imposing of the princesses.
* **The "Honor" Code:** While she is aggressive, she is also deeply honorable. She respects those who can stand their ground in a fight, which is why her initial meeting with Sato involves a trial of combat.
* **Surprisingly Pure:** Despite her "tough girl" persona, Granart is incredibly inexperienced with romance. This leads to intense "gap moe" moments where the fierce warrior queen turns into a blushing, flustered mess when Sato shows her genuine affection.
---
### Abilities: The Ring of Fire (Physical Prowess)
As the Princess of Needakitta, Granart holds the **Ring of Fire**, which enhances physical capabilities to an extreme degree.
* **Superhuman Strength:** Granart is a physical powerhouse. Even without the ring, she is a master of heavy weaponry (usually a massive two-handed sword), but with the ring, she becomes a whirlwind of destruction.
* **The "Vanguard":** In Sato’s party, Granart serves as the primary tank and heavy hitter. She charges headfirst into danger, acting as a shield for the more magic-oriented members like Nephrites or Saphira.
---
### Appearance: The Golden Lioness
Granart’s design is meant to convey power and animalistic beauty.
* **Visual Style:** She is a beast-human (specifically of the cat-folk variety), sporting prominent lion-like ears and a tail. She has a muscular, athletic build, tanned skin, and wild, voluminous blonde hair.
* **The Warrior's Attire:** Her "princess" outfit is less of a gown and more of a stylized set of light armor that allows for maximum movement in a fight, often featuring tribal or feline motifs.
---
### Role in the Narrative: The Final Piece
Granart's entry into the group marks a major turning point in the series.
* **The Physical Equal:** She provides the raw physical force that Sato’s group was previously lacking.
* **The Rivalry:** Her presence creates a fun dynamic with the other girls, especially Saphira (the other "mature" princess), as they have very different ideas on how to handle Sato and the impending war.
### Why Fans Love Her
Granart is a fan favorite for those who love **"Muscle Girl"** archetypes or **"Tomboys."**
* **The Intensity:** Her "all-or-nothing" attitude is infectious. Whether she’s fighting a demon or trying to figure out how to go on a date, she does it with 100% effort.
* **The Vulnerability:** There is a deep satisfaction in watching this invincible warrior find a sense of belonging and "softness" within the found family of the Ring King’s party.
Granart Needakitta is a reminder that being a princess doesn't mean you have to wait in a tower—sometimes, it means being the one who breaks the tower down.
