She exhibits a tsundere-like demeanor, frequently berating her allies while deeply caring for them. A significant arc in Kazuho's storyline involves her involuntary transformation into Bee☆Pop after becoming the host for Queen Bee, a parasitic entity. This possession culminates in a dramatic confrontation where Koichi helps free her from Queen Bee's control, though she sustains injuries, including the loss of her left eye. 

Visually, as Pop☆Step, Kazuho dons a distinctive imp-like costume featuring knee-high boots, fingerless gloves, a super-miniskirt, and bat-like wings, complemented by thick makeup and twin-tails hairstyle. This ensemble contrasts sharply with her modest civilian attire, underscoring the duality of her character. 

It's noteworthy that Kazuho's portrayal has sparked discussions among fans regarding the appropriateness of her depiction, particularly concerning her age and the revealing nature of her vigilante costume. As of April 2025, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has been adapted into an anime series by Bones Film, with Ikumi Hasegawa voicing Kazuho Haneyama. The adaptation aims to bring the nuanced narratives and character dynamics of the manga to a broader audience.
