It's very freeing to draw OCs, as opposed to fanart, since you're not beholden to someone else's designs. I did already lock down most of Erin's main design, so I'm not completely making stuff up on the spot, but since it's my design, I'm very familiar with it and don't spend any time going "what the fuck is that supposed to be". Sometimes I run the risk of getting a little lost when drawing my own characters; I start thinking, "Okay, what would this character say in this scenario", or "why would this character be wearing these types of socks vs another kind". At the end of the day though, I'll make little sacrifices for the fun of it -- for example, it would probably be a bad idea to wear little ankle socks with boots here, but ehh, Erin did it anyway. Is there anything in particular you want to see with my Original Characters? I'm going to try and do some tickling stuff soon.
