Description
Takane Takamine is the central character of Please Put Them On, Takamine-san, the manga also known by its Japanese title, Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san. She is the polished and influential student council president at her school, admired for her confidence and seemingly flawless record. Beneath that reputation, however, Takamine possesses a supernatural ability that lets her undo past events and try again. Her power is tied to changing her underwear, an unusual condition that gives the series its provocative school-romance premise.
Takamine’s secret becomes known to Koushi Shirota, a fellow student who finds himself drawn into helping her maintain control over her ability. Their unusual arrangement shapes the manga’s mix of romantic comedy, supernatural elements, and risqué humor. Takamine’s authority and self-assurance contrast with the private rules surrounding her power, while Shirota’s involvement creates an ongoing dynamic between the two characters.
