Description
Takane Takamine is the central character of the manga Please Put Them On, Takamine-san, also known by its Japanese title, Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san. As the student council president, Takamine is admired for her academic excellence and commanding presence at school. Beneath that polished reputation lies an unusual ability: she can undo events and alter the past by changing her underwear, while retaining her memories of what happened. This supernatural power forms the basis of the series’ mix of school comedy, romance, and suggestive humor.
The story also follows Koushi Shirota, a fellow student who becomes involved in Takamine’s extraordinary secret. Their relationship gives the manga its central comedic tension, as Takamine’s confidence and influence contrast with Koushi’s growing role in helping her manage the consequences of her ability. The premise turns an everyday school setting into a playful story about second chances, social standing, and the complications of changing the past.
