Description
Takane Takamine is the central character of Please Put Them On, Takamine-san, a Japanese manga series by Yuichi Hiiragi. Known in Japanese as Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san, the series combines school comedy, romance, and supernatural time-reset antics. Takamine is the student council president at her school, where her polished public image and unusual ability shape the story’s playful premise.
Her power lets her undo recent events by changing her underwear, making the title’s recurring clothing motif central to the manga’s comedy and plot. Classmate Koushi Shirota becomes involved in helping her use that ability, and their interactions drive much of the series’ humor and romantic tension. The setup gives Takamine considerable influence over events, while Shirota’s role creates an ongoing contrast between her authority and his predicament. The series is also known by its Japanese title, Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san.
